The—Space Between : Terms & Conditions

The Space Between reserves the right to refuse admission to the studio.

Bookings are made subject to the studio’s right to change the programme, material or teaching staff as a result of circumstances beyond its control. The Space Between may change their services to reflect changes in relevant laws and regulatory requirements.

All classes must be paid in advance at the time of booking online, over the phone or at our Customer Service Desk.

Yogis who have pre-booked online, have priority over walk-ins.

Please sign in at our reception at least 10 minutes before the start of the class to ensure you can get set up for the class and have a good experience. Students must be on their mat ahead of class start time. Late comers will not be admitted.

 

The use of cameras and recording equipment and mobile phones is strictly forbidden.

Class passes must only be used for classes, they do not apply to workshops and courses.

Class passes and any other bookings are non-refundable and non-transferrable and must be used by the person specified at time of purchase. They may not be transferred from the person for whom they are purchased to any other group or individual. By purchasing your class package you agree to use all classes sold by the expiration date chosen at time of purchase.

 

Student rate only applies to those in full-time education. Student Cards must be shown. Students must be 18 years or over to attend general classes and workshops.

Introductory offers can only be used once by new clients to the studio.

Cancellation Policy 

Class attendees are obliged to cancel class bookings at least 6 hours before the class is scheduled to commence. Failure to cancel within this timeframe results in forfeiture of class pass or payment of the class.

Workshop attendees are obliged to cancel workshop bookings at least 3 days before the workshop is scheduled to commence. Failure to cancel within this timeframe results in forfeiture of payment of the workshop.

If The Space Between has to cancel a class or a workshop for any reason a full refund will be offered to drop ins and, for class pass holders, the class will not be deducted.

 

Gift Vouchers

The Space Between gift vouchers can be used for all Yoga services offered at our studio. Gift certificates cannot be returned or surrendered for cash or transferred between persons. 

Payment Methods

We accept cash and card payment. The Space Between is not responsible for any fees, charges or exchange rates levied by individual financial institutions or card issuing companies.

This is the Privacy Policy for The Space Between, 28, Fenian Street, Dublin 2. 

We shall refer to this company as any of the following: The Space Between Team, The Space Between, we, us or our. This Privacy Policy explains in detail how we collect personal data, the reasons for this collection, the legal basis for processing and how we handle and maintain the security of the personal data we process. It is likely we will need to update this privacy policy from time to time.

What Information Do We Collect and Why?

 

  • We do not collect more information than we need to fulfil our stated purposes and will not retain it for longer than is necessary. 

  • The personal data we hold includes personal data you provide to us in person, via our website or by telephone, including personal and contact details (such as your first name, last name, date of birth, gender, billing address, email address, mobile number, health details) you supply when booking a class, signing up for the first time and signing up to our newsletter.

  • We regard the use and processing of the above personal data within the obligation of a contract entered into with us when purchasing our services. Without it, we could not provide the services we do (i.e., yoga classes, trainings, workshops, etc.). We may use this information for the purposes of providing, monitoring, assessing and marketing The Space Between. We may also use your personal data to inform you of information, new features, offers, services, and products from The Space Between from time to time. 

  • If you do not wish to receive information regarding offers and studio news, you can opt out from our newsletter at anytime. 

  • We do also collect financial data which includes personal data which relates to your finances, such as your bank account and payment card details and information which we collect from you for the purposes of the prevention of fraud. We work with a third-party provider, MINDBODY, to store this data. 

How Do We Obtain Your Personal Data?

We obtain your personal data directly from you, either in person (at our studio or otherwise), via our website or by telephone. This could include personal data which you provide when you:

  • Purchase our products or services

  • Create an account on our website

  • Subscribe to our newsletter

  • Request information on our services or products or for other marketing to be sent to you

  • Enter into a competition or promotion

  • Complete a survey from us or give us feedback

We use a system called MindBodyOnline (operated and owned by MINDBODY) for storing your contact details and processing online transactions. MindBodyOnline encodes your card and contact details to ensure the details are safe to transfer to use. Card details you store on your account for online payments are not visible to us and we do not save your card details. MINDBODY is based in the United States, with operations around the world. They store all data in servers and back-up servers located in the US. MINDBODY has Privacy Shield certification which complies with GDPR regulations related to transferring data outside of the EU. The Space Between reserves the right to take audio, photo and video recordings in the studio and during classes. The Space Between holds the full rights and rights to use such recordings for print and online marketing. The Space Between will endeavor to inform participants when such recordings are made and considers the processing of this data in accordance with its legitimate interests for business monitoring and improvement to the studio and its working practices.

 

Data Retention

Whenever we collect or process your personal data, we will only keep it for as long as is necessary for the purpose for which it was collected. In most cases this is for the length of time that you continue to use our services. At the end of that period, your data will either be deleted completely or anonymised, for example by aggregation with other data so that it can be used in a non-identifiable way for statistical analysis.

 

Who Do We Share Your Personal Data With?

We will not sell, share, rent or otherwise distribute any personal information to third parties. Any information supplied by you to us via this website will only be used in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation.

We recognise the importance of data security and take measures to ensure the security of personal data. Access to your personal data is password-protected, and only those with permission are granted access. Any misuse of personal data is considered a disciplinary offence and a full investigation is automatically entered into.

The Space Between reserves the right to vary and revoke these Terms and Conditions from time to time which it may consider necessary or desirable for the regulation of the internal affairs of the Studios and/or the conduct of Members. This includes but is not limited to the right to amend class times and teachers, cancel classes and amend the pricing structure at its discretion. The Space Between will endeavour to give notice of such changes as is reasonably practicable. Any such changes will be published on the website and, until revoked, are binding on members.
